I have asked a few questions regarding the move of my 1992 VF2 and truly appreciate the feedback. Anyway I have one more before I go pick up the machine tomorrow. The machine is not under power and unfortunately the z axis is at the home position. So with that I am going to need to bring the spindle down to the table before it is back under power. Will manually cranking the ball screw mess up the encoder? Will the machine be lost in Z? Any other thing I should be ware of? |
