Hi All, anyone want to weigh in on this? During simultaneous interpolation of A & B axes, is it necessary to command M11/M10 clamp/unclamp before/after the interpolation? Seems that the machine automatically does it for you before beginning any interp., since I see the message @ bottom of screen (A unclmp.). If no need, when would you use the M-codes? |

| I read a comment in the Haas Manual which said something to the effect that if you wanted the rotary axis to start simultaneous with a linear axis then use the unclamp before starting the axis motion so there was no delay from the brake releasing. It did not say anything about starting two rotary axes together but it would seem appropriate to unclamp them in case they has different delays.
