While warming up our VF-3 this morning, our machinist installed a USB flash drive to load a program. As soon as he did, the servos all turned off and the machine locked up. When we power down and restart, we get a message saying "will shut down in 15 sec due to setting #1. Press any button to continue." We can press any button and the count down just restarts. If we push the "list programs" button we get to that screen, but nothing is highlighted and can't do anything. The strange thing is that the language has changed from English to Spanish. Anyone come across this? Anyone have a fix?
We have now talked to Haas, it seems the flash drive may have shorted something out and at the very least, it needs to be re-initialized. Haas cannot get a technician out before Tuesday and we need this thing running so we can get parts to SEMA next week. Does anyone have an independant that may be able to help us out toot sweet here in Orange, CA? Thanks in advance!

An update, apparently I know enough people, we got a technician out and found out the controller card was bad. One, Haas realy stepped up for us. Two, you guys down here in Orange County with the Santa Ana's blowin' make sure your grounds are all in good shape, the only thing we can figure is static electricity. $4200 later we're back up and running.
