Question Enabling the Floppy Drive on a TL-1?

The lathe in my school's workshop didn't have a floppy drive or any input besides the keypads so we tried installing a floppy drive. Installation was fine but when we try to enable it in the options it says "Servo is on" and no one here has no idea how to turn the servo off.

We'd like to get this solved soon for the class right now since the CAD/CAM program is being ousted next year and all this machinery will be auctioned off.

    Thanks

    Edit: Nevermind
Turns out all I had to do was hit the emergency stop button. Thanks anyways, sorry for the useless post.

When will people wake up and see that, without manufacturing and generating the interest of the coming workforce to enter the manufacturing trade, will be the downfall of the US as we know it...

I bet they are not going to auction off the computer or business labs...

Well, his profile says Colorado Springs. The local HFO should know where that machine is and what training program is in jeopardy. It's in the HFO's best interest to keep machines out there. Anybody want to tip them off?

It's not like CNC machining is just a vocational skill. Manufacturing Engineers and Mechanical Engineers need that exposure too. They ain't gonna' get it from a book.
