    300psi OR 1000psi TSC?

Getting a new Haas VF-3SS APC, and wanted to know if the 300psi TSC is good enough for chip clearing while drilling in TI, 4140-4340 ht (max depth 5" with a 5/8" cutter and 4" with a 5/16" bit into 6/4 TI). Do you think I would be better off just paying the extra cash for the 1000psi?

    Aloha

Ordered a 300 PSI back in 2004 on a VF-5/50. Beginning of this year, replaced it with a 1000 PSI to run a coolant driven right angle milling head. A 1000 will do much better for small carbide drills and inserted drills also. Spend the money now while you can finance it or shuck out 5 G's later.

I have a VF-8/50 with 1000psi.We drill a lot of stainless here and it just blows those chips out of the way.
So my vote is 1000 psi.
