Need Help!- Server Authentication issues TM-2, TM-3

I am an IT technican at a growing aerospace company. We recently purchased 4 HAAS Mills. I have them networked and using our file server. However, we are moving the files to a new netapp appliance. I set up a share and granted access to an account whose credentials are added to the share on the filer. I can see the share logged into a windows box. However the HAAS machines keep giving "Server Permission Denied- Server is unable to authenticate the user name/password entered in the settings." We tried upper and lower case in both passwords and user names. This is holding back the decommisioning of the server. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. We even were able to access the share using a linux box!
