Can the USB drive be field installed on a 04 TM2 ? I'm looking at a machine and love the usb on my VF2SSYT Thanks Brian  |

| Yes, but you don't want to see the price. I assume your VF2SSYT is a 15" LCD. They have a different internal board. The older machine would need the Ethernet Hard Drive option just to get that USB port. I think that's around $3K. I'd buy a low cost computer and leave it next to the machine as an RS232 slave before I'd pay three grand for a USB port.
