haas VF-1 oil change?

i have a 1996 Haas vf-1 and have started to get a fault for low perssure or low oil in the spindle transmission..i checked it and its way low..no big deal.. but i wanted to chage it do to the fact the oil in it is not whats called for so i wanted to go ahead and change it while i was at it..question is i removed the big cover over the spindle and motor/tranny but cant find no where to drain the oil from the transmission on it. wheres the drain plug? and how much oil does it take?.. its a 1996 VF-1

Remove the small cover under the head stock..about 8 button heads..right behind the spindle in the machining zone....

There will be an Allen head set screw there..in a collar welded to the sump tank..usually gold alodined...

That will drain it..

To fill, use the filler neck up on top..under or next to the "grease screen" above the pancake fan...

Amount of oil depends on year and such..sorry can't remember exactly..maybe some one else can..But you just fill it up until it comes out the "overflow"..the second hole next to where you removed the set screw to drain it..but I'm sure it is under or near a gallon..

thanks..i found that but didnt know for sure it was the right tank..couldnt find where all the lines went to trace it..
