Hi and a small problem

Hi this is my first post

I am a student at Pickens tech school

The problem we have is our new Haas mini mill is locked up with a 144 Time out

When I do a search it discards the word "out" so thats no help.


The screen says call the dealer
Well my instructor has called the dealer several times and they have not been much help

I am even getting involved since my school money is being wasted because I can’t use the machine.

I was wondering if anyone here had any advice.

You need to call the shop in Camarillo. Make sure the school has paid the bills. They (New Haas) shut themselves down if you don't keep the bills paid. Though I don't know for certain that's the error.

It is an alarm the dealer installs to render the machine useless unless it is paid for. As long as payments are up to date your dealer will give you a code to punch in. Make sure you get the procedure with it.

thanks for the quick answer, as far as I know there is no bill (thats why he is upset)
the School gets the machines for a few years and a option to buy after that

or trade it in on another machine (I know sweet deal)

We are back up and running

I had suggested to the instructor that he needed to call Haas direct

I tried to call them yesterday but they closed early

So every thing was resolved

Unfortunately there is always a bill to someone. So glad you got your problem resolved. It is a great machine to learn on.
