Input Phasing; Pass/Fail

Over the past couple of years questions have been posted about the Pass/Fail LEDs showing correct Phase connection on Haas machine.

We were getting a new TM3P installed today and I just had to take the picture; I guess Haas had too many phone calls with the same question.

I got my tm3-p installed today and noticed the same thing.

the pass fail is really only for hydraulic pumps on lathes and tsc pumps on larger mills they are the only 3 phase motors that need to be phased.

I can laugh now, but when that light was on my mini mill I called haas 800 number and talked with their tech department they assured me something was wrong and it have it check out now. So I did and local HFO came out and said dont worry it, probably every other machine has it on and they sent me a bill. Nice.
