| We got the 7500 spindle,to tell you the truth I don't know if they offered the higher spindle back in 99 when we bought it.Will agree 100% with Geof on multi-fixturing, it is rare to have just one or two parts on the machine at a time,(that is unless size calls for it).I just set it up the other day with a fixture that is the size of the table and has ten parts on it,there are 11 tools for the part and it has a one hour cycle time,if we were to do them one at a time it would add minutes to each part time.

| If you are wondering what spindle to get for a job shop, may I recommend the 10K geared head version! Lots of torque for harder stuff and enough Speed to be efficient in the soft stuff. Haven't regretted that decision on our VF-3 which hasn't had any issues since we got it in late 2006 other than software. Mechanically it's been fine.
