Newbie- vf-2 ss Z axis off by .05

My machine shop has jaws milled to a certain depth and now all of a sudden the machine is .05 lower for all my offsets. was -24.149 for my deep step jaws now it is -24.199 and it messes up everything with my hieght/bore setter settings

Is there any way to adjust the machine and not every other offset for the tools in the machine? I need that number to stay at -24.149 otherwised i am SOL!!!

subtract 0.050 from whatever work offset you're currently using.

CNC machines do not suddenly jump 50 thou for no reason.

First you need to check the simple stuff such as did you accidentally put a value in G52 which is not getting zeroed.

The more complicated stuff is has something slipped in an encoder driver?

You really need to find out why it changed not just do a correction; if it changed one way once it may change back again at any time.
