Need Help! Outputting to USB or MDI - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

Does anyone know how to output variables to either MDI or to a program on the USB while running a program in MEM. Ive used DPRNT command to get variables to go through the RS232. I want to do exactly the same but write to MDI or to USB.

I don't think it can be done (could be wrong though). What are you wanting to do with the information that is being output? We connected a Device Server to our rs232 port and sent data across our network. We sent out probing dimensions and positions.

hoping to output to probe positions into a file such as mdi or onto usb. Im trying to get away from using rs232
