I would try to save the posted file as a text format (.txt). We have used this without any trouble for years.
We have and older (mid 90s) VF-4 that is having problems loading programs. They are written with Edgecam and saved under a .NC configuration. When loading the program it has been changing numbers in the code for I and J values to ridiculously large amounts and then giving an alarm of a bad number. Which it then throws parentheses around, the program will load on any of the other machines we have. Any suggestions on what could be the cause of the problem?

Hi Trillionaire
When the control put the parentheses around a line of code there is something in that line that the control does not like or something in the code that your post processor has put out that the control does not accept also remove the .NC from the name/number line they load better without this I have a new control & have had it do the same things as you are getting but by changing the post processor I have no more problems I don't have Edgecam so can't help you there.
