    SCO2-ACR and HRT210

When I sold my VF-2 I kept the HRT210 rotary table so I can use it on my other mills. My Vf-2 had the 4th axis controls integrated into it so I purchased a SCO2-ACR control. Over a year has gone by and I'm just getting around to hooking this up. My HRT210 has one cable with a large connector and the SCO2-ACR takes 2 smaller connectors per axis, one is labeled encoder. Its seems like a I need a adapter cable or are these not compatible? I need to get this 4th axis up and running asap.

I'm no Rotary expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...

It sounds like you have a brush motor in that rotary but the control you bought is for brushless (two cables). You'll either need to buy an adapter box for about $1000 or replace the controller.

The controllers turn up on eBay all the time--usually for less than $1000--so buying the adapter box is probably not cost effective.

Item #360046374556 has a Buy it Now price of $769. It's the model with the membrane keypad (which I don't like) but if you need it ASAP, that might be your answer.
