I have my new vf 2 being delivered on friday (one and a half weeks early). I can barely wait. I ended up going with valenite vtech for coolant based on their (valenites) application engineer who told me it will last the longest when not used all the time. Does anyone have experience with this particular coolant?

I used to use valenite in another machine I had so I ended up going with the same brand. I hope I didnt make a mistake.

I know a few guys that use it. You should be fine. Look into getting an oil skimmer and this will help prolong the life as well. Also if the machine sits for a couple of days, turn it on and run the coolant to keep it from getting nasty.

thanks a lot loose nut. I ended up returning it and going with blaser coolant due to recommendations from a few people and a lot of reading on the internet

Good choice on Blaser. Thats what we use.
