VF 2 ordered

I put my order in today for a vf2. I am super excited. Mike Steinbock (the salesman in my area) was amazing to deal with. The whole experience so far has been great. Thanks to all who helped on this forum.

I get my machine in a month

I just popped in an order for a Super MiniMill. Wonder which will arrive first your machine our mine?

No date yet. But I don't believe them anyway, I have had machines arrive weeks earlier or weeks later than predicted as well as sometimes exactly as promised. When the truck driver phones from about 5 hours away then I believe it is coming.

I ordered my VF-2 and SL-30 back on 11/30/2007 and they should be here next week.. so it looks like they're about 5 weeks out on stuff..

Hehe if you push hard enough they'll get it to you as soon as you want it. We ordered a VF-5 just before December 20th and it was installed and running when I got back from vacation on January 3rd.

No, it was made but for another customer who I think put a hold on it. We might get lucky and actually get to keep the wireless presetter they left on it. That would a nice little bonus.

Cross your fingers. I lucked into a similar deal: I ordered a VF2 with the standard 10000rpm spindle and they had an order cancellation on a machine with the 15000rpm option and a few extra features so I got that within ten days at the same price.
