I learn something new everyday. I just replaced the spindle on this machine a few days ago and all of the sudden it couldn't orientate. Whenever I give it an m19 the spindle will try to orientate but it couldn't it would just spin back and forth. The reason was because the drive was bleeding about 55 volts to the spindle at all times even when the machine was at a stand still you could't turn the spindle with your hand. This also caused overheat alarms and it is also the reason my spindle motor made a growling sound. I also learned how to test the regean resistor for a 2005 VF-6 the resistance reading should be 6 ohms. I just figured I would pass along the info.    |
