    Screen too bright on VF-O

    Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to turn the brightness of the screen down on an older model VF-O. We replaced the CRT screen a few months ago and the orange text appear to be really bright. Is there a parameter to adjust maybe?

    thx

It is not a parameter, there is a little adjustment screw/knob on the side of the monitor. You may be able to find a plastic plug blocking the access hole on one side or the other or you may need to take the back cover off to get at it.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

    Maybe...

Thanks for the reply Geof. I remember seeing the adjustement knob on the original screen, but couldn't find it in the replacement unit. I guess i didn't look hard enough. I'll try taking the cover off and checking again.
