Very slow tool change on Tool Room Mill

Hey Everybody

Where I work, we have a Haas Tool Room Mill. The boss has been on the machinist's butt to get faster with the machine. When it does a tool change, it beeps for 4 seconds and then goes thru the tool change. The question is, is there a parameter that can changed to stop the beeping and save the 4 precious seconds. Any help would be appreciated. Happy Holidays

Go to setting number 7 (parameter lock) and turn it off.
Go to Parameter 601 (Tool Change Delay) and write down the value.
Press the E-stop button and lower the value. It should be defaulted to a value of like 5000 (like five seconds).
