Had an error #317 Y over travel rangewhile running a program at a line starting with G17G90. I have never had that yet? What is causing this and how can I fix it. Thanks N1 G90G0G54 G49Z0H0 G28Z0 G17G90G0G55X2.8581Y-.3025T4M6 S5000M3 G43Z.1H4 M8 G1Z-.6825F20. |

| Y overtravel is caused when your coordinates tell the machine to go somewhere it cant physically go. For example, if you told the machine to go X1200. from G54, obviously, the machine cant go to 1200 inches from the offset, so it would give you an X overtravel alarm. In this case, you are telling the machine to go beyond its Y axis movement capabilities, so check your offsets and dimensions, etc. |
