We are looking at a Haas OM-2A for mold tooling of extremely detailed parts -- down to 0.1 mm tips on the cutters. Does anyone on here have experience with this machine at this level of detail? Thanks much! |

| I have been cutting steel using a 60 degree cutter with a .010" tip diameter with success on a vf- 1, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to use a cutter roughly half that size in the office mill. I'd request your dealer demo the job for you. |
