I just picked up a nice used HRT210 rotary table. I would like to have both a 3 and 4 jaw chuck that i can mount on this rotary. I notice the price from haas for a 3 jaw is $1200!. I know I can make an adapter plate, has anybody purchased a generic chuck and had good luck using it on this rotary?? Thanks for any advice, Joe Simmers |

| You should be able to get an 8" Bison 3 jaw for a lot less than $1200. These bolt on from the front and easily attach to the HRT210. You don't even need an adapter, just three tee nuts.

| We bought the 6" 3 jaw when we got a HRT-160 with our VF-1 this summer As far as I can tell, we paid about $400 for the chuck, and $600 for the plate they machined that mounts it to the rotary itself. It's the kind of thing you could make yourself, with ease. I wouldn't buy from them. |
