I searched this forum for some info but I did not find anything useful. So I apologize if this question is redundant.
I have a VF2 that gave me a Z axis overcurrent alarm. I shut down and cleaned out the brushes and tried again. Same thing! I swapped the Y axis and the Z axis boards and the problem moved to the Y axis. Now my question is before I go and call HFO for a replacement board has anyone gone any deeper in finding the problem on the board? I already checked the fuses on the board and now I am moving to the resistors. Any guidence would be appreciated.

you can replace the fets which are usually blown relatively cheap you can ohm them out and see the blown ones they are the 4 discs on the rear part of the board on the heat sink.
