If you go back a few months in the forum there was some chatter about how to do this. It was one of things that caught my eye about this group, everyone seems to have a lot of knowledge and very willing to share it.

people have told how to change the par. to speed things up if you cannt figure it out then mabey you shouldnt be speeding things up.
i for one will not be telling you how to alter the saftey settings on the tm1
it only takes one idiot to hert himself to make my life hell
it can be done do some reading ask a tech look at other machines hint hint.
but just a warrning wait till warrenty is up they can tell if you have made a change and what little warrenty you get will be gone. and if you only use small tools you can get 8000rpm out of the tm

Apologies for not searching first, I thought this was a new discovery and did not know it had been discussed before.

I can find the info on increasing the rpm, but not the feed rate. Personally, I have better use for faster rapids than rpm. If the HAAS techs themselves have been giving out this info, how can it void the warranty? Regardless, I don't want to void it.

Oh yeah, and thanks for calling me an idiot.

I know you didn't say they give out the info. But others have said techs either did it for them or told them how. I don't recall if it was even in this thread, maybe one of the older threads I searched.

Anyhow, I was kind of kidding about the idiot thing. No worries.

faster rapids and rpm's are a must with the tm-1. the factory settings are like watching grass grow. but can be changed.

any changes are held in memory so you are taking a chance if the tech smells somthing funny and lets say your motor blows up and he checks the history bang you are screwed its only 6 month warrenty wait till that is up and then take the try to play. warrenty is hard enuf to get without trying to pull a fast one on them.

Yes in the Alarm History; but only 300 entries I think. So you change them back and then push Estop and Reset 301 times to get rid of any record .

I think it might be less work waiting until the end of the warranty.
