I have the unfortunate pleasure of owning a 2004 SL10. It has about 2500 power on hours and about 1000 cut hours. the 300 volt powersupply has taken a crap. This has been by far the worst machine tool experience I have EVER had. EVER. In the past year I have spent over $8000 in repairs. That is just in the last year. I am beyond disgusted with Haas. I have no idea what it's going to cost to get running again. But it's out of here after it's fixed. I'll never own one again. |

| My first question would be, did you buy it new? If not, good luck. After seeing the condition most of the "good used" equipment is in, I wouldn't buy someone's junk unless I knew who it was I was buying it from and saw how they took care of it. Most of the time, a company won't get rid of a machine unless there is something wrong with it in the first place. As for the power on hours, that seems kind of low for a 3 year old machine. My Mini Mill is a year old and has lots more hours than that. Good luck! |
