can anybody give me some hints on how to mill a cam on a haas with 4th axis rotary?can supply dxf file of profile. thanks jens heartlnd@rivernet.com.au  |

| In some respects, this is like asking M/S for the source code to the operating kernel for their operating systems. In this specific case, the "helP" actually may involve the conveyance of informantion that is literally of a "trade secret" nature to our very livelihood. With that in mind, what are you trying to do and/or achieve? Perhaps I can help either in an advisory role and/or professional manner - it all depends. I can assure you of one thing, however, lift isn't always "lift", especially when you're cutting the cam lobe flanks when it comes to the cutting of a cam lobe using 4th axis capabilities. |
