    Which Aloris Model?

Looking for recommendations on which model of Aloris tool holder is best for a TL-1.

    Thanks,

    Aloris makes nice stuff.
Do you mean in terms of size? I use CXA. It holds 3/4" tools. IMO 3/4" is plenty beefy for the TL-1. Next size up CA (1") is pretty big and heavy too. I think it is worth considering how much you will be swapping out tool holders and their weight/size for handling. Cost difference in the holders CXA vs. CA is about 20-25%.
I think I would stay away from the quadra type holder if you plan on doing any heavy drilling from the carriage(which I do alot of). They say it can handle it with the pin installed, but I am not totally convinced. If you are not doing alot of drilling then the Quadra system is pretty nice for multiple tool operations.
