Ok so here's the story...I have now got a couple of renishaw probes with the "cherry" broken off...the rest of the probe is ok. I know I can buy the whole probe stem,but was wondering has anyone "made" a new one and if so does it work ok. Oh and the reason they broke.....Y and Z jog buttons are too close together for my stubby fingers! ( For all of you about to tell me to turn of the .1 rapid....I did it yesterday..)    |

| One of the reasons why a lot of poeple damage tools ,is when the tool offset is not active,when it comes to the probe for tool or part;you have to make sure the probe is active that will set the machine in safe mode. carlos. |
