does any one know where I may find a programming and operations manual for this machine?

Download them from the Haas website. There might be some things that won't work in that old of a machine but most should work fine. The mill manual is about the first one in the list.

thanks some of that is helpful but was also looking into an actual manual that may have come with the machine originally
