| I've found that typeing in the word "DEBUG" in the alarm message screen and pressing the "write" key will allow you to view an additional screen in the position display ( servo encoder postions and steps ) are there any other addtional windows and menu's that can be accessed by typing in a keyword? if so what are they? |

| From what I have learned watching the service tech, They use that command to setup the machine and diagnose problems. I would recomend not messing around with it simply because when a tech modifies a control all info is stored and sent back to the head office in CA. If parameters or any other item is modified I would believe that they would want to give you grief about the warranty. If you a wanting to find out what options are in a machine that you may have your eye on, all you have to do is call Haas with the serieal no. and they can tell you. Even if you change work height more than is allowed my setting #144 (I believe that is correct.) It records it. Just so if it crashes the tech will get the alarm in the history. |
