we have a 3 year old VF6. For some reason, the tool is not being held tightly in the taper all of the time. You can literally wiggle the tool between the drive dogs?????? Any ideas? Sometimes, the tool holds, sometimes it doesnt. I have checked all the pull studs, and applied a bit of grease to them. Thanks in advance. |

| Buy or borrow a clamprite gauge to check the drawbar pressure. When I asked the Haas service guy about preventative maintance on the drawbar they said you can't replace the springs you need to replace the whole drawbar assembly. |

| We just had the drawbar assembly replaced in out 2000 VF6 50 taper (same problem), once it was out there were 6 spring washers that were cracked. Haas installed a new drawbar & the cutting difference was huge to what it was before. |
