Door Feed Hold

My minimill feed hold button works like my old VF-E, but the door feed hold stops the spindle. This seems like a recipie for tool break or at least a blemish on the part.
I found the setting to bypass the door safety interlock, but I don't want that. I just want the door feed hold to be like my old machine.

I don't like this and I can't find a setting to change it.

This mill also has a feature that limits the spindle RPM to 750 with the door open. Do all new HAAS have these features?

Read through the parameters. I cannot remember the number but there is one called 'door stop spindle' or something like that. Set it to 0 to keep the spindle running with the door open. There is also one for setting the door open rpm.

Ya what Geof said, I remember looking through all the parameters and see one called door stop spindle, just can't remeber the number. Look in the book to know how to change the parameters if you don't already.
