TM1 A axis first time problem

Acquired a TM1 mill and HRT210H rotary table from a division of our company that was closed down. So there is no talking to the previous operator on what parameters need to be changed or enabled.
We did find a note that mentioned para 128 and it said to change to 0 or 16384.
This mill came with both a horiz and vert unit and we tried both changes-nothing. We need some help. This is runs flawlessly otherwise. No problems whatsoever. Build date of the mill is 01/05. Thanks.

Not very clear what your exact problem is. Are you just trying to hook up the rotary to the machine to run it? Are you getting alarms? What do you mean when you say it came with a horizontal and vertical unit?

First off, I would not change any parameters until you fully understand what they are for and how they affect the machine/rotary.

To connect the rotary cable to the machine, turn the machine off or place in E-Stop (Very Important!!!). Goto Setting 30 and right/left arrow until you find your rotary model. Press ENTER button. This will pull up the correct parameters for that particular rotary product. At this point you should be able to home the machine and use as you wish.

If the rotary does not work at this point, report back exactly what the problem is along with alarms.

    Good luck!

Yes we are hooking this up to run a job on it for the first time.
I am home now and will take some better notes when I go in at 3:00 but this is what I remember.
The machine came with a vertical and horizontal rotary unit. 2 separate units. These are numbered HRT210H and HRT210V.
We did power down to plug in the cables.
We went to setting 30 and found HRT210B which our note said was the one to enable. Did that.
Problem is the rotary unit will not move either with a MDI program or with handle jog.
We did try to home rotary unit by using restart button but got a red light and message in lower left corner of display that read"servo is on".
Sorry I am tired and can not remember if there was an alarm number.
    It was a longggg night.
