I think they replaced the little aluminum ball and check valve? I will look for the parts list.. They say that if the ball does not seat good that it could bubble the fluid and make it overflow through the fill, I do not think it could bubble that much. When it happened the first time was at midnight and we had shut the machine off and were walking past it and noticed it, we spent three hours cleaning it and looking to try to find out what could have happened. We turned the machine on and ran it seeing if we could figure out where it came from, and there was not another drop of oil. Then we started keeping an eye on it. The second time I had opened the panel and looked and there was not a drop of oil anywhere then just a few minuites later there was oil dripping on the floor by me at the front of the machine that had ran down the little channel in the sheet metal and there was another puddle behind the machine. It happened three more times and each time it would not have had but a few minuites to happen between walking by that side of machine.
Personally I wonder if this is what has caused us spindle problems. I think the only way it could have had this much oil that quick is if it leaked by the seal on the little clear tube while there was air pressure in that valve. But I'm not sure how that tube is put in down there under that seal, if it is possible or not.
There was oil spray against the door and walls but not any above more then an inch over the spindle fluid tank.
We were told the last time they were here that it has happened to a few more new machines.
