Thread size for Kitagawa B208 Chuck grease fittings?

There are 2 grease fittings broken off on the chuck in the Haas lathe at work...I finally got the broken parts out, but what the heck threads are in the holes? I need to order new fittings, but have no idea what size they are. The threads appear to be 32 pitch, using a thread gauge. MSC doesn't even sell grease fittings with 32 pitch threads.

They are the fittings on the outside of each part of the jaw that moves.

    Thanx!

I believe they are metric and there tapered, we had some of ours break back in the late 90s, couldnt find any zerks to fit or the right tap so we just bought the big ones at the grainger I think it was grainger and used that thread style retapped. they worked.

Yup, probably will just have to retap...No telling how long it's been like that. Well before I started learning how to program/run it.

Before you do theres a company in the states that sells kitagawa parts Ohio I think, they also rebuild them. we used the long ago and they were always helpfull with very fast turn around, we sent them in a chuck that was trashed from a used machine and they rebuilt it at a very reasonable cost.
they might be able to tell you what tap to use and hwere to get the zerks.

An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

The fittings for the B208 are a metric 6.mm x .75 pitch. Kitagawa has them for $5 each but they have a $250.00 minimum order amount. McMaster has them on their website (part# 1105K16).
    Thanks,
    Ken Foulks
