haas alarm 153

I have a haas vf1 serial #1103 getting a alarm 153 X-axis ZCh missing. A haas tech came in they told me it had a bad encoder. The problem Hass is having is they cant find an encoder (EG&G torque systems model NO.
C80-0306-DM-2000) The machine was built in 1990. We need a eg&g encoder or a cross reference to another one.
