What does the "B" stand for on a 2001 HAAS VF3B Model?

For a while Haas was selling the machines available with preconfigured option packages, A through D with D having the most options. Could not tell you anymore what B has compared to the others though.

The B normally signifies the machine has a 2 speed gearbox.

    Haas Factory Support

Depending on the age of the machine, B could signify gearbox or brushless. What is the serial number? I can look it up and tell you exactly what it means.
    Thanks,
