    G66?

    Hello.

On Fanuc OM controls, G66 is the Modal marco command. Define your marco once, and it will repeat it at every X,Y move untill you canncel it (G67). Works great for pattern subs (C-bores, slots, ect.).

Dose anyone know how to do this on a Haas VF control?

    Thanks

Do you have a copy of the Haas manual?

Yes, but I did not see a modal command for marco programing, but it could have missed it.

I ask the 'answer man' at the Haas web site, and this is what he/she replied.

"Regarding your G66 / G67 question to the Answer Man, Unfortunately the Haas control does not have the same G codes to perform that type of programming. One thing you can do is use the M97 subroutine call and nest another subroutine within it to get a similar type of program."

So, no. Haas VF machines do not have a modal Macro call.

Though I would post an update.
