    oil/coolant separator

I'm having and issue with my vf2's oil/coolant separator. it constantly leaks coolant everywhere and i have to empty the bucket about every 20 minutes. I have pulled it off and cleaned/replaced the gasket on it. what else can i do to keep it from doing this?

Usually this happens when the output lines get clogged with sludge or debris.

Take it apart again, and make sure that the output port for the oil is clear and the tube draining coolant back to tank is clear.

Reassemble seperator making sure it is level and prime it by dumping about a cup of coolant into the casting so it drains into seperator.

Usually that is enough to take care of the problem.

If it still leaks coolant, there may be to much flow for it to work properly. Inspect your machine to find out where the majority of the coolant is entering the casting from and remedy it. Most likely the rear Y-Axis wiper is the culprit.

    Good luck!
