    Price/Value of 12 years old VF0

    I figured I would follow TravisR100's example.

What should I ask for a twelve years old VF0?

Still able to hold better than 0.0005", probably close to 0.0002".

X axis ball screw is noisy but it doesn't seem to have affected the accuracy.

    Macros, Rigid Tapping, 4th Axis.

I was thinking ask $15,000 and come down from that?

Or am I being too greedy?

We don't have room for it in our new location but it was in use until the move.

I think 15k is fine. I can store it for you if you want. I am in the states and it will be easier to sell here then in canada . LOL

seriously Ive seen them go higher and sell quickly. Right now good ones are selling fast seems the USA is finally busy again.

    Geof,
That has to be a good price. Especially when you consider most of the machines for sale are in a used dealer warehouse in completely unknown condition.

That price is fine Geof and I would not go down much if any at all.

No, something like $45,000 back in May 2000. It was my second purchase of a CNC machine and my first new machine.
