cann't clear estop alarm after 4th was removed

I hit the estop and turned off the HRT210 setting in the controler. Then I disconnected the HRT cables. Now the estop alarm wont clear out. I tried reconnecting the HRT but that did not work.
Any ideas on what has happened?

Did you turn the machine off. Somewhere I have seen a warning that the rotaries must be connected or disconnected only when the main power is off.

I don't mean to insult anyone here, because I don't know your experience level, but just wanted to make sure that you knew that the E-Stop button has to be turned to release it!!!!!

In addition, make sure that the 4th axis setting actually says OFF.

Otherwise, I would just power down and restart.

Ya, me too! It is a button that is really not used that much and you can forget that about it.

we we got it. Its always the dumbest things. The coolant pump cable was half way pulled out. Must have happened when we were disconnecting the HRT.

    thanks anyways!

That should not generate an E-Stop condition.

No, I think not turning the e-stop button would be the dumbest thing.

I have had 4 service calls in my history.
Customer - I have an alarm, emergency stop
Me - have you tried all the estop buttons. Look around some machines have more than one
Customer- oh ya, I'm not stupid you know.
    Me- is the machine overtraveled.
    Customer-no its xxxx
Me-be there in an hour/day whatever

Me-emergency stop was pressed on chip conveyor/atc unit/remote pendant

Customer- oh, I didn't know there was one there

Me-minimum charge, sorry. Any other problems while I'm here.

    Customer- embarrassed .

    Happens more than you think.
