Cracked air filter sight glass on VF-3

The air filter/regulator on our VF-3 has a crack in the plastic sight glass and is leaking air. Do you know who might sell the replacement part? I’d prefer to just buy the window if possible to save money. Data below.

We had one do that on our SL-10. Unfortunately, finding someone who sells parts is extremely difficult. We ended up buying the whole regulator for ours. I seems silly, I know. But if you consider a shop rate of $40/hr, if you spend 2 hours looking for the part, you burned $80. You can darn near just buy a regulator for that. Good luck to you!

I agree, a new one is 40$ so I will probably just buy one to save time. I emailed Parker mostly out of curiousity and did get a reply that my request was being sent to the proper department. It will be interesting to see if they can help and how long it takes.

It does bother me to replace the entire thing for a little plastic window. I think I will buy a new one and replace the window on this one with a metal plate and use it on a future project.

I did get a response from Parker about 24 hrs after my inquiry and they want 80$ for the entire bowl and do not sell the glass alone (details below). The local Haas dealer never responded to my email. I plan to buy a new filter/regulator for about $40 from McMaster.
