How to use more than 10 tools useing the extra offsets?

HI all, My 2003 TM1 has a 10 tool, tool changer, but my control as 15 tool offsets. I would like to have 15 dedicated tools with preset tool length offsets.

Say after the 1st op I switch out tools 6-10 with tools set as 11-15

How do I call up say tool 13, with it's preset tool length offset, without the Haas alarming out?

    would the code just be:
    T8 M6
    G0 G54 G90 Xx.xxx Yx.xxx M3
    G43 H13 Zx.xxx M8

    Thanks for any help.
    Kyle

Change the setting for T and H matching. Look up the setting number in the manual.

    +1

Also, your code looked good. Just call the other Hxx value you want it to use. Just be careful in doing this. If you have the wrong set of tools in there and run the proggy, you may need to get out the Flexible Tool Catalog!

Under Setting Graphics, setting 15 is H and T matching. It is normally"ON," just change it to "OFF." Then it will allow you to call a tool number and a H offset that do not match.

I would strongly recommend that you change it back when not used, if you do a lot of manual programming.
