    510 Router tool change macro

510 gantry router. Immediately upon reading a M06 I get a "macro not found" error. Is there a macro that controls toolchanges on the routers?

I was playing with vqc a bit, and did I accidentally erase that macro? I cannot find the parameter floppy for the machine either.

The only way I can get it to change is modify the toolnumber in > settings > tool number at power up.

Help..running some long molds all weekend.

Well found the floppy. Reloaded just about everything on it. No dice.

    Haas Factory Support

Do you still require support on this? Email me at kfoulks@haascnc.com for immediate assistance. Then you can post the results here for others to see.

As far as your problem, it seems like you aliased M06 to a sub-program. To undo this, Go to parameter 81 and see if there is a value of 6 on that page. Change it to zero and that should fix your problem.
    Thanks,
    Ken Foulks

Thank you for the interest Ken. I called direct and another apps engineer got me going. I was missing the macro that does the tool change.

For everyone else, here is the low down:

The machine has a dust collector that surrounds the spindle. It is on little motor that swings it open to permit access to the tool changer. Subsequently, a toolchange is handled by three macros:

One to actually change the tool, one to open the dust collector, and one to close the dust collector.

    Here are the macros:

    %
    O09000
    (DUST COLLECTOR TOOL CHANGE)
    IF [#4120 EQ #3026]M99
    G103 P1
IF [#6009 EQ 0] GOTO4 (JIF in inch mode)
    G00 G90 G53 Z[4.*25.4]
    G53 Y[-6.*25.4]
    GOTO5
    N4 G00 G90 G53 Z4.
    G53 Y-6.
