    VF-3D (1999) Macro Question

When I try to input a macro command such as:

    IF[#500 EQ 0]

I get a message that says "bad code". The machine is a HAAS vf-3d, a 1999 model. I do not have the manuals available - I guess they were lost at some point. The screen is black / orange but I do not know what specific software version it is. Any ideas?

Most likely, you do not have macros enabled. Talk to your local HFO to buy the option or enable a previously purchased option.

You could also try a simpler command to rule out a mistyped equation:

    #100= 1
    Thanks,
