    EC500 servo dirve questions

I am wondering of anyone here would know some technical details about the servo drives in the EC500 machining centers.

The motors are brushless AC, and my question is, do the drives operate on a step/direction type signal, or are they controlled with an analog +/-10VDC signal?
Would these drives be made by Haas or are they actually built by some outside manufacturer and 'private labeled' for Haas?

    thanks

The majority of commercial machines operate with either ±10vdc or digital similar to Modbus or equivalent, rarely step/dir.

    Thanks Al.........
I wonder if the drives and motors have any resale value?
The EC500 is a current model machine.
I have access to 4 machines.
