    4th axis drive install

Time to start my own thread on this instead of continuing to hijack others. My 4th axis drive install kit came a couple of days ago. I opened it up today to see if it is over my head to try to do the install. It did come with instructions as others had posted elsewhere when I asked. The install looks pretty straight forward. Pretty much plug and play with all the cables well labled plus a couple of jumpers to install. One question. The other amps that are in my machine all have a yellow/white/black 12V plug that goes to them near the top (just below the plug/cable that goes up to the Mocon board) as shown in the attached picture. The new amp that came in the kit doesn't have a spot for that plug (as shown in the second picture) but the instructions say to plug in the 12v yellow/white/black harness. Any ideas or help? Just install without it? Is it possible they sent me the wrong amp?

New "smart amps" do not need the +/- 12v power cable.

They are smart enough to generate it internally to the amp now!

OK, thanks for the reply. I think I will do the install today if I have time. I have read through the instructions several times and verified where every cable and plug goes with the exception of the one question that you just answered. I shut off the power at the breaker and locked it out yesterday afternoon so I just need to verify that the high voltage bus is fully de-energized and I'm ready to go. Thanks again for the help.
