Our VF2 is getting up there in age and although its running good, the auger is beginning to really scrape the bottom of the trough it lays in.

Has anyone ever tried to glue some kind of thin friction reducing teflon tape or something under the auger to give it a smooth surface to rub on.

I'm just not sure what would hold in place over the long hall since it would be under water all the time.
