    Moving a VF1 info please...

Im getting ready to move a older VF1 next week and Id like to know anything that I need to do to move it. Only going about 10 miles with it. What do i need to do to support the spindle head on it. i know there is normally a plate the bolts on it for support but I dont have it. Is there another way or does anyone have dimentions on the plate where I could make one? Any tips on moving this machine will be helpful.
    thanks
    Randy

Wood blocks placed on the table, blocked on the head behind the spindle. Do not block on the nose!. Tape or rope the doors. I always recommend lps3 or light oil spray down of all bare surfaces. It never fails, the day you plan to move it will rain. No major prep IMO for only 10 miles.
